Commonly used for surveillance, the Internet Protocol Camera or IP camera produces an image resolution that is so far superior and about twenty times better than that of analog cameras. An IP camera is a digital camera that transmits and receives data over a network or the internet. It is a self-contained unit with an IP address that only requires a network connection to transfer images. It connects to a network just like any other standard network device, such as a laptop, tablet, or printer.
